Bridgeway is a unique church in many ways. When it comes to joining Bridgeway, Membership just doesn't say it all. So instead, we call it Partnership. It's similar but its not identical. Were looking for people to officially come alongside the rest of us who have made Bridgeway our home church to partner together in order to accomplish the mission & vision that God has downloaded to our leaders. Membership holds more of the idea that you belong to something for the sole benefit of what you get out of the deal. While Partnership has its privileges, it is more about owning the cause and banding together with a group of people who are committed to that same cause.
Becoming a Partner is a process that takes some time and investment, but its actually been streamlined in the last year.
The first step is to attend a Partnership class.
At the class youll learn more about Bridgeways mission, vision, and values, leadership structure, policies and statement of faith.
Partnership Classes are generally scheduled on the first Sunday of each month during the ministry year.
Time: 10:00am–11:25am
Location: Classroom #2
Some people are ready to become a partner that day, while others may still have a few other requirements to fulfill.
Partnership Classes will be held on the following dates for the 2010-2011 ministry season:
- August 8, 2010
- September 12, 2010
- October 3, 2010
- November 7, 2010
- December 5, 2010
- January 9, 2011
- February 6, 2011
- March 6, 2011
- April 3, 2011
- May 1, 2011
- June 5, 2011
- July 10, 2011

Our Partnership requirements are in place because we believe that our partners should understand fully how our church functions and what we believe. In addition to partners being adults of 18 years of age, we require the following:
- Cross the line from unbelief to belief in Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. (Be a Christ-follower.)
- Commit publicly about my faith in Christ by being baptized since crossing the line to trust Christ. (Be baptized.)
- Come to a Partnership Class.
- Come regularly to Bridgeway Sunday services for at least 6 months. (Faithful attendance.)
- Connect with a ministry of Bridgeway or a sister organization in order to begin serving within 6 months of your acceptance into partnership. (Serve.)
- Covenant with the Bridgeway leaders and other partners to: (1) Protect the unity of the church, (2) Share in the spiritual & financial responsibility of the church, (3) Serve in a ministry of the church or sister organization, and (4) Support the testimony of the church.
